You have the right to be safe at work, from harm that impacts on your ability to regulate your emotions, maintain self-control and, put simply, just do your goddamn job. Seems simple? You have a duty to report, as per the SafeWork system of workplace ridding the lowlife who is hurting you. That does not mean it is easy, or in your best interest. Sorry, the law is the law, but so is your safety – so make sure you report in the safest manner possible, in the reality that people can turn on you, and they do — quickly, without respect for the law, or your own needs.

If you do choose an external body to intervene, be prepared to answer questions such as:
Have you raised it with the person directly?
If not, why?
If so, what was their response?
Have you raised this with anyone else?
If not, what stopped you from reporting?
Life gives you lessons, not what you want.
As they say, it’s 20/20 vision, in hindsight.
